Ingredients
4 1/4 cups Bread flour
1 tsp Malunggay powder
1 tbsp Salt
2 1/4 tsp Yeast (active dry)
1/2 cup Sugar
1 1/4 cup Warm Milk
2 pcs Eggs
2 pcs Eggs
2 oz Butter or Margarine
1/4 tsp Food coloring (green), optional
1 cup Bread crumbs (I haven't included this on my video)
Procedure
1. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup warm milk, yeast and 1 tsp of sugar. Mix well. Leave it for 10 mins or until it bloomed.
2. Mix all dry ingredients - flour, Malunggay powder, sugar, and salt.
3. Add yeast mixture to warm milk. Mix well.
4. Add food coloring if you like. This is optional.
5. Combine yeast mixture with milk and dry ingredients. Add eggs.
6. Knead the dough for 10 mins. Add butter.
7. Knead well until dough comes together to form a smooth ball..
8. Remove from mixing bowl and transfer to a lightly oiled bowl.
10. Cover with cheese cloth or cling wrap and let dough rise for 1 hour at room temperature.
11. Punch dough down and round into log.
12. Cut the log vertically weighing 40g each. Rest dough for about 15 mins.
13. Roll dough into breadcrumbs and place on a baking sheet.
14. Cover dough with cheese cloth for final proofing 30-45 m.
15. Bake at 175°C for 30–45 mins or until top is golden brown.Here's the video:
